About me

I welcome students of all ages and backgrounds — from absolute beginners to advanced players. My teaching centers on the joy of playing, listening, and feeling. Every lesson is tailored to the student's personality and pace, so piano becomes something you love and continue.

Graduated from Waseda University, School of Commerce
Received scholarship to Berklee College of Music (Boston), 2000
Studied jazz performance at Berklee
Active jazz pianist in Tokyo clubs, live venues, and lounges

Teaching approach

Strong fundamentals matter — but lessons should never feel like forced practice. We start with what you want to play. Adults explore the music they love at their own pace. Kids discover music through play, naturally building rhythm and ear.

Price

Lessons & Fees

Same rate for kids and adults. Simple monthly plan (2+ lessons/month) for steady, sustainable progress.

Monthly Plan (2 × 60 min, kids & adults)¥10,000 / month

Trial Lesson (60 min)¥2,000 / session

Base rate: ¥5,000 per 60-min lesson, billed monthly. Frequency is flexible — feel free to discuss. On-site visits available (transportation fee added). Please inquire for details.
